Samantha Forner

Team Assistant

Samantha joined the GVSU Women's hockey team in 2008 as the Team Assistant. Sam, as she is known by the team, helps the coaching staff with water bottles, carrying sticks, organizing pucks and numerous other tasks that the coaches need done. She has been involved in hockey for 3 years now and plays locally for the Georgetown Ice Center Pee-Wee team and is #8. When Sam gets older her hope is to be a Nurse and work with children. Her parents and older brother know how much the game means to her and are extremly dedicated to the game of hockey as well. According to her mother, Diane, when she graduates High School she is going to attend GVSU and wants to be a Laker hockey player!

Well Sam...we will be here when you are ready with a #8 jersey waiting!

Thanks a lot for everything you do for us!
